I thought about these posts and discussions, and realized that in my entire time posting that I never really did a blog piece on what my preferences are, and why I prefer certain things. For those that may have been interested or curious in what I like, well here you go Basic or Master?
I always follow the league or tournament rules, even if its not exactly how I might play solitaire. For my Replay with my brother Chris Baier, we are using actual game starting pitchers and position players. Solitaire Tournament Play or Playing Teams from Different Eras When I roll projects such as my Amazing April Tournament for example, the home team of that game plays under the rules that their team played under back during that time. Another note on my Amazing April Tournaments, I usually go with the first 2 starters alternating from round to round.
Rolling Preference I used to hand roll, but since I use my arms a lot for my job, and the fact that I am getting older, my elbows started hurting with all the repeated motions. So with that in mind, I will not reveal the overall concept, although I did share it with my brother and one APBA friend Which reminds me, you both need to stop by and sign some papers making sure that your lips remain sealed.

6th Annual Greater Michigan APBA Baseball Tournament
Kinsella book of the same name. The reason I chose this name is that I hope to put together a league in which will be teams concerned with more than wins and losses. To me, baseball has always been larger than life; a game devoid of time restrictions, haunted by and dependent on its ghosts, where numbers become an art from and the human beings that play it are expected to be flawed and inconsistent, yet revered anyway. I hope you will see in the guidelines that follow, that I have tried to create a league that adheres to statistical accuracy, yet stays simplistic; a league that will promote competition, yet be played for the pure enjoyment of THE GAME. The guidelines are sometimes not very specific; but I hope you will see the intent and abide by it. There is no interleague play. Each team will play every other team in their division 22 games per year, and will play 12 games per year against each of the teams from the other two divisions.
Late in , APBA announced that it had agreed to take over sales and service for the game; Miller Associates disbanded. Complications in game development, as well as errors in the code that had gone long unrepaired, delayed the release. As of November , the current release schedule has not been announced. The current version of the game runs on Windows 7 in bit mode. For 64 bit versions of Windows 7, it requires Virtual Mode software.
